Looking for your own personal oasis this summer? Than look no further than the Central Florida Zoo! Being previous annual pass holders, we can say without a doubt that there is always something new to do at the Central Florida Zoo and they want to send a lucky family of 4 to unlock their wild side!
Not only is the Central Florida Zoo conveniently located right off of I-4 in Sanford, there are tons of activities to do when you arrive! Our little guys love animals and are huge fans of Wild Krats on PBS. Every time we go, we have another little Chris and Martin explaining to us what the animals are and what they do in the wild. In one case, our oldest actually corrected the Mrs. when she mistakenly pointed out the wrong animal!
Wether your litle ones are into bugs, giraffes, reptiles, or bald eagles, there are plenty of animals to check out. We have always found their staff and volunteers to be both knowledgeable and friendly and always willing to answer questions. Looking to cool off a bit? Then the Wharton-Sith Tropical Splash Ground, which is included in your zoo admission, is a great way to cool off the little ones while you relax under the shade of an umbrella!
While the animals are of course the main attraction, the Central Florida Zoo also offers great add on activities such as the Little Florida Railroad, a carousel and other activities right on site at the zoo. Want to zip through the trees or walk on water? Checkout the Zoom Air Park right on property, or walk on water with the WOW balls!
