So for those that know me personally and not just as the Frugal Florida Fun guy, you know I have done my fair share of weddings. For those that are just getting to know me, you may not have realized that I seem to dabble in all sorts of stuff. In addition to a full time job, and a hobby of writing about our frugal adventures, I’m also a Florida State Notary. I don’t do weddings professionally or anything and have never made a penny doing it, but instead have been able to help a few friends out along the way. What started out as an offer I never expected the groom to take me up, on has lead to quite a few evenings of fun an happiness with those that I consider dear friends.
My friends James and Katie asked me to perform their wedding ceremony, I of course was happy to oblige! For months I kicked around the possible funny wedding ceremony ideas, and we spoke about the bride and groom’s wishes on multiple occasions. Only until a few days before the ceremony did I actually know what I was going to say.
