Thank you for tuning into the Fun Forecast for Friday March 27th thru Sunday March 29th 2015. Our goal at FrugalFloridaFun.com is to connect families with affordable family friendly entertainment throughout the state.
We have a great collection of events to choose from this weekend! No matter what you and your family like doing, there is something for everyone without breaking the bank!
The Compassion Experience:
We’ll start off with a truly unique event this week. Starting Friday, and continuing through Sunday, come to the Church in the Son in Orlando to experience something truly unique and inspiring. Become immersed in what it would be like to live in a 3rd world country without filing for a passport! This event does have a Christian message and promises to show you and your family how millions of children live around the world. We think this is will be a great way to truly understand just how much we take for granted every day.
Uptown Art Expo:
Held every year at beautiful Crane’s Roost Park in Altamonte Springs, come see the Uptown Art Expo Saturday and Sunday! This free event features arts and crafts, live music and entertainment, specialty festival foods, wine, beer, and street chalk paintings! You’ll love the venue, as you stroll around the park!
Wings Over Flagler!
Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, enjoy the sights and sounds of Wings Over Flagler – Rockin’ The Runways! This annual air show in Palm Coast is truly unique! A mix of a community event with food, sponsors, and local business combined with an airshow and concert series! They offer quite a few tribute bands over the course of three days with multiple musical styles. Adults are $12, Veterans $10, with Kids 12 and under coming in at $5. Parking is $5 at the airport, or you can take a free shuttle from the local high school. We went last year and really enjoyed the idea of getting up close to the airplanes.
