We have lots of special events to tell you about this week! Most have an Easter theme, and you can find something that matches your budget! No matter what you and your family like doing, there is something for everyone without breaking the bank!
EDGE fest Easter Egg-Stravaganza:
Once a month Hawks Park in Edgewater comes alive with a great local celebration! This month is of course an Easter theme complete with an early evening Easter egg Hunt at 6pm. Stick around and watch Big Hero 6 in the park for FREE!
37th Annual Crescent City Catfish Festival:
Held the first Saturday in April for the past 36 years, the Rotary Club of Crescent City is hosting their annual Catfish Festival! Complete with a parade, live bands, arts, crafts, and even a car show will take over downtown Crescent City. We went a few years ago and really enjoyed the sights and of course the food! Bring a few dollars to try some fried catfish, and you must try the swamp cabbage! Read about our previous adventure here!

Magic 107.7 Easter Egg Hunt!
Almost in it’s 20th year, Magic 107.7 is again hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt! Although it has moved around a few times over the past few years the them is the same: Easter FUN! There are 9 separate Easter egg hunts based on age range, and lots to check out. Hosted at Reiter Park in Longwood this event is FREE to attend, and they are even hosting breakfast every 30 minutes. Z88.3 & Sea World Sunrise Easter Service!
If you’re looking for a different way to celebrate Easter, be sure to checkout the Easter Sunrise service hosted by Z88.3 and Sea World Orlando. Last year over 7000 people went to celebrate Easter Sunday services with the Z crew. Parking and admission is free and the gates open at 5:30am with the sunrise service starting at 6:30. An offering will be taken to cover the cost of the event, but that’s completely up to the participants. If you want to enjoy the park later in the day you’ll need to purchase admission, but the sunrise service is FREE.
Cocoa Beach Easter Surf Fest:
If a stadium isn’t rally your way of celebrating Easter, how about surfing instead? The 51st annual Easter Surfing Competition is happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Cocoa Beach at Lori Wilson park. There are food vendors, dog event, music, movies, a Sunrise Easter service, and of course surfing!. You’ll want to go to their website for full details, but this like some real fun in the sun!

Universal Studios Mardi Gras:
Saturday April 4th, you can checkout the All American Rejects as they play Universal Studios Orlando Mardi Gras! This concert is included with you regular park admission and is a great way to use your annual pass benefits!
Bush Gardens Tampa Bay:
Continuing their inaugural Food and Wine Festival, April 4th will feature Collective Soul and Echosmith on the 5th! We haven’t been to Busch gardens in years, but would love to check it out again! You can’t go wrong if you have an annual pass, you can checkout some awesome concerts!
